See in first hand the multiculturarity of northern Serbian province of Vojvodina in the village of Backi Petrovac. It is well known as a Slovak village, and this is your chance to get acquainted with the customs, culture and the tradition of Slovaks in Vojvodina.
Take a walk through this lovely village with sightseeing like the National Museum of Matica Slovak, where you can see an exhibition of Slovak national costumes, Native house from 1799., private gallery of painter Vladimir Urbancek, and his arts where he presents the customs and cultural tradition of the locals. The Gallery is located in a typical Vojvodinian house.
For a moment, leave Backi Petrovac and head for Kulpin to see the Dundjerski castle, the Museum of agricultural machines and the Orthodox Church. Go back to Backi Petrovac and gain a special right to visit the ethno centre AHOJ where we will organize a presentation of old crafts, handicrafts and souvenirs. Domestic brandy, kulen, cheese, vine and specialties of Slovak gastronomy will be served for lunch.
